Deborah is the principal of DA Family Lawyers and is an accredited family law specialist. Deborah was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland in 1996 and has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology.

Deborah is the President of the Family Law Practitioners Association (Queensland) and a Council member of the Queensland Law Society being appointed as the representative on the council for the Attorney-General of Queensland.

Deborah has practiced in Family Law for over fifteen years. Deborah's specialty is court appearances in all areas of Family Law including, in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, Children Court and State Magistrates Court. In addition to representing her own clients,
