


Deborah is the principal of DA Family Lawyers and is an accredited family law specialist. Deborah was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland in 1996 and has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology.
Deborah has practiced in Family Law for over ten years. Deborah's specialty is court appearances in all areas of Family Law including, in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, Children Court and Children's Services Tribunal. In addition to representing her own clients, |

Deborah is a member on the panels of:-

Independent court appointed children's representative in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court; and
- Court appointed separate representatives in the Children's Court and Children's Services Tribunal.

Judy was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003 and is registered to practise in the High Court of Australia. Judy has experience in complex property and children’s matters and is a qualified mediator.
Judy has facilitated mediations since 1995 and has experience contracting to Legal Aid Queensland and the Family Court of Australia. Judy has tutored for many years in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Queensland University of Technology, Law Faculty.
Judy is a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner able to provide certificates required under the Family Law Act to commence court proceedings for parenting disputes. |

Judy has completed Collaborative Law training and is a member of the Collaborative Law Association of Queensland.
As well as being a lawyer Judy completed a Bachelor of Social Work in 1988. Prior to her admission as a solicitor Judy worked as a counsellor with the Family Court of Australia. She also worked as a social worker in various government departments including Centrelink, the Department of Child Safety and Commonwealth Rehabilitation Services.

Ayako was admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia in January 2007. Ayako has a Juris Doctor from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Relations from the University of Queensland .
Ayako is a native Japanese speaker and enjoys assisting the Japanese community by providing family law advice. She can give advice on the family law issues faced by Japanese clients such as Hague Conventions issues and property settlement involving properties in Japan.
